I've been breeding for over 20 years. I first started with Bird Dogs, then Labrador Retrievers, Great Danes and finally Bassett Hounds. I have sold puppies all over the U.S. including Alaska. The puppies are born in my home and are around other dogs, cats, and children. They are cared for like family. They are up to date with their shots and worming. If needing to be flown, I explain the whole process to the new family. All I want is the puppies to go to forever families and be loved like they are with me.
At 3 weeks old, puppies start eating supplements milk and puppy food but still enjoy mother's milk. At 4 and 7 weeks they get Panacur worming and at 6 weeks they receive there first 6-way shots. All puppies come with a puppy pack that includes the AKC papers, stating all the things the new forever family will need to give to their vet, a bag of puppy food, blanket and toy.
Bassetts as they grow, love to be cuddled and give kisses and the gentle touch of a child to put them to sleep.
